Our work →Awesome day at this Lodge, staff exceptional. Team building was a nice touch to our end-of-year function. Food was lovely, exploring the surrounds was exceptional. Highly recommended venue for teams to unwind and relax.
The environment is amazing, and the rooms and food are excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I visited for a team-building event with my company — a wonderful experience, including hiking to the waterfall. On our last day we had lunch at a picnic spot next to a small waterfall. Truly awesome!

We did an amazing team build with Hein at the waterfall — great facilitation, a nice spot for an evening braai and a stunning walk to the waterfall. Sleeping in tents was also special.
Waterval's property borders a 700-hectare fynbos nature reserve — and the ecological restoration work we do on our own land is designed to connect to it. Year-round fynbos rehabilitation, invasive alien clearing and water catchment management on our property actively extends the health of that reserve.
